Uscite in mare alla ricerca dei delfini. Stati Uniti? Australia? Brasile? Indonesia? No, siamo nel Golfo di Catania. Non tutti i siciliani sono a conoscenza della grande ricchezza di specie marine che popolano il loro mare. Sono presenti squali, razze, tonni, pesci luna, tartarughe marine, balene, delfini, e la lista è molto lunga! Sì, abbiamo detto balene e delfini, quei magnifici mammiferi marini che fanno da star in acquari e parchi acquatici. Ebbene, loro vivono “anche” nel Mediterraneo, e il Golfo di Catania conta fino a 8 specie presenti regolarmente tutto l’anno. Già, perché se la prima domanda spontanea di un catanese è “Veramente qui ci sono i delfini?”, la seconda domanda è “Quando sono arrivati?”.
